Something’s ironic about this webpage…

Does anyone notice anything funny about this website or is it just me? Michael Vick, former quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons surrendered earlier today to begin serving his sentence for cruelty and neglect towards the dogs he had…he pled guilty to dogfighting. But when you go to the website on a local CBS affiliate (CBS 46), there are banner ads all around the story…and let’s just say you gotta love contextual ads in these circumstances.

Check out the top banner and the one on the right-hand side. Here’s a story about this former football star who was sentenced to federal prison for dog-fighting and now you have banner ads that are probably on a contextual ad-serving system that are displaying banners for dog products and services. You might be lucky to see the entire screen if you go here. Does anyone else find this ironic?
