One of the great sessions that I attended at yesterday’s Podcamp DC event was when social media guru, Shashi Bellamkonda from Network Solutions gave his talk on how small businesses can utilize social media to their advantage. From purchasing your own domain, google’ing your name, creating a Facebook fan page to much more, this 30 minute session helped to reinforce the importance of social media and the theme of Podcamp DC.
