Being a social media practitioner is a credible profession and the fact that companies have to seek out people like yourself gives it more value and legitimacy because they know that your expertise is in using the tools to help have conversations and engage with customers.</description>

I have worked as a freelancer in social media consultancy for some time, albeit as part of package, including other methods of website promotion and marketing. Still some way to go before many companies wake up to the potential of social media but it&#039;s getting there.</description>
